Why does my chainsaw leak bar oil?

There can be a few reasons why your chainsaw is leaking bar oil.
One reason may be that the chain is too tight and is putting pressure on the oil tube, which causes it to leak. If this is the case, you will need to loosen the chain so that there’s more room for the oil to flow. Another possibility is that there’s something caught in the chain saw blade, such as a nail or piece of wood, which is causing it to jam and preventing enough oil from flowing through. In this case, you’ll need to stop using the chainsaw until you can clear whatever obstruction is blocking it. Finally, if your chainsaw continues leaking bar oil even when everything seems normal, then it might be time for some maintenance work like changing out the seals or gaskets
