When it comes to toning, there is no one-size-fits-all answer. But, using the right weight can definitely help.
If you’re just starting out, it might be a good idea to use light weights – something around 3 or 5 pounds. As you get stronger, though, you can gradually increase the weight that you use. Ultimately, aim to lift a weight that feels challenging by the last few repetitions of your set.
But remember: always listen to your body! If something feels too heavy or uncomfortable, don’t be afraid to adjust the weight accordingly.
