The debate over whether or not to unplug your treadmill when you’re not using it is one that has been around for a while. Some people believe that it’s better to unplug your treadmill in order to save on energy, while others think that leaving it plugged in is the better option. So, which is the right thing to do?
Well, the truth of the matter is that there isn’t really a definitive answer. It all depends on how you use your treadmill and how often you plan on using it. If you only use your treadmill every once in a while and don’t mind waiting for it to power up each time, then unplugging it might be a good idea from an energy standpoint. However, if you use your treadmill regularly and don’t want to have to wait for it each time, then leaving it plugged in would be more advantageous.
In general, though, unplugging any electronics when they aren’t being used is always a good idea from an energy standpoint – so if you have other devices like TVs or computers that aren’t being used regularly, go ahead and unplug them as well!
