There is a lot of debate surrounding how much air should be in an exercise ball. Some people say that you should completely fill the ball with air, while others recommend only filling it halfway. So, what’s the right answer?
The truth is that there is no one definitive answer to this question. It all depends on your own individual preferences and needs. However, here are some general guidelines to help you decide how much air to put in your exercise ball:
If you are new to using an exercise ball, start by filling it with half its maximum capacity of air. This will give you more stability and make it less likely for the ball to burst if you accidentally overinflate it. As you become more comfortable using the ball, gradually increase the amount of air until you reach its maximum capacity – but never exceed this amount! Doing so could cause the ball to burst.
If you are looking for a challenge, try increasing the amount of air until the exercise ball is about 80% full. This will make it harder for your body to balance on top of it and provide a greater workout.
If you are pregnant or have any other health concerns, consult your doctor before inflating your exercise balls past 50%. Exercising while pregnant can be safe and beneficial when done correctly, but consulting with a professional beforehand is always the best practice.
