If you’re having trouble getting sound to work on your ViewSonic monitor, don’t worry – you’re not alone. Many people have this same problem. But don’t worry, there is a solution!
The first thing you need to do is make sure that your audio drivers are up-to-date. To do this, go to the ViewSonic website and download the latest drivers for your specific model of monitor. Once you’ve done that, restart your computer and try again.
If that doesn’t work, there may be something wrong with your audio settings. To fix this, go to Control Panel > Sound > Playback tab and make sure that “Viewsonic VA1903wb” (or whatever model of monitor you have) is set as the default device. If it’s not already set as the default device, click on it and then click Set As Default at the bottom of the window.
Finally, if all else fails, try reinstalling Windows Media Player: Go to Control Panel > Programs & Features > Turn Windows features on or off> Check “Windows Media Player” box> Click OK> Restart computer>. This should solve any remaining sound problems with your ViewSonic monitor
